Alappuzha: In a tragic development, it is suspected that a woman who disappeared around 15 years ago was killed and buried in Mannar. Police believe that a young woman named Kala who went missing from Mannar under mysterious circumstances, was killed and buried. Based on this suspicion, police have begun a search at the residence of Kala’s husband Anil. They are currently examining the septic tank of the household.
15 years ago, Kala’s husband, Anil had lodged a complaint with the police. However, there was no significant investigation in the case. Meanwhile, Anil got married again. For all these years, there was no information about Kala’s disappearance.
Reportedly, an anonymous letter received recently by the Ambalapuzha police turned out to be a breakthrough in Kala’s missing case. Four people were taken into custody during the investigation conducted by the police. Following this, the police opened the septic tank in the house in Mannar and began their inspection.
Meanwhile, the police have not yet released any official information about the incident. Police have not confirmed any information including whether the woman was murdered. Kala’s husband Anil is currently abroad.
