Years may have passed since her launch as heroine in ‘Mynaa’, but Amala Paul is still referred to as the girl from Prabhu Solomon’s rural tale. Such was the success of the film, which was followed up by similar projects offered to Amala. But the actress gracefully refused them all, citing that she wants to work in a variety of films, and not stick to the same genre.
Ask her about her dream, and the 22 year old bubbly girl is quick to answer “I want to act in a historic film!” Once career is in place, the next to focus on, for any normal Indian girl, would be wed-locks.
“I still have a long way to go in my career, and marriage is not my plan any time soon. And when it does come by, I don’t want it to be a picture-perfect arranged marriage. I want to have known the man I will spend the rest of my life with, very well; I want to fall in love with him before I get married to him” says Amala.
