Usain Bolt cruises to third straight 200-meter world title

Jamaican star Usain Bolt won 200 metre sprint at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow yesterday. This was his third successice 200 metre world title. It was also his 7th world gold medal.

Bolt now has the opportunity to draw level with the present mark of eight world gold medals won by retired American duo Carl Lewis and Michael Johnson when he races the 4x100m relay today. The 26-year-old Bolt clocked 19.66 seconds. His teammate Warren Weir won silver, while American Curtis Mitchell claimed bronze in the event.
