THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM State Secretary M V Govindan said that good polling in the Puthupally constituency gives LDF candidate Jaick C Thomas hope of victory. UDF expected an easy walkover but the situation has changed since development was discussed said M V Govindan.Govindan also stated that there is no intention to capture the seats of the constituent parties. He also responded to the rumour that India will be renamed Bharat. MV Govindan also commented that after a while it will be called Hindutva.

Meanwhile, five hours after the start of polling in Puthupally, the polling has risen to 39.79 per cent. Jaick C Thomas responded that all people have the passion to beat the rain and the sun.
