NEW DELHI: Tremors of earthquake were experienced in Delhi and some parts of North India this afternoon. The tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir’s Punj district and Lahore in Pakistan. The tremors were from an earthquake in Afghanistan measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale. No casualty or damage was reported in the incident.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 241 km northeast of Kabul, Afghanistan.
