The Supreme Court on Monday gave permission to begin investigation against the Chief Minister’s office over the Solar Scam case.
The apex court cautioned the CM’s office against interfering in the probe in any way. The Court also instructed the investigating officers to overlook the clean chit given by High Court to Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the case.
Meanwhile, the Court rejected the petition to seize the CCTV recordings from the Chief Minister’s office filed by the Right to Information (RTI) activist Joy Kaitharam.
