Priyanka Chopra, who is presently in LA, has organised a special screening of her Hollywood film animation Planes in Mumbai for friend Sonali and Goldie Behl’s son Ranveer birthday bash. She had the prints specially flown in from Los Angeles to Mumbai.

Says a source, “Goldie and Sonali are having a party for their son Ranveer’s tenth birthday tonight. The ten-year-old is a huge fan of animated films and is looking forward to the release of Planes. On hearing this Priyanka, who stars in the film, decided to surprise him by organising a special screening of the movie tonight for him and his friends in one of the theatres in Mumbai.”

Goldie’s sister, producer, Shrishti Behl confirms, “Priyanka has organised a special screening for Ranveer two weeks before Plane releases in India.

Ranveer loves cars and my son Veer, who is Ranveer’s friend was thinking what to get him for his birthday. When Veer asked PC what he can give Ranveer she came up with this idea. The amazing thing is that she has been in the US for the last two weeks, so my son and PC have been co-ordinating the trial over different time zones. How many children are lucky to see a film two weeks before release in India? Planes released in the US yesterday and will release in India on August 23. PC has organised everything from booking the theatre, organising the popcorn to the candies and food to be given to all the children.”

Shrishti adds that her eight-year-old and PC have always got along, “She has babysat my son when I have gone out, and  that too without the help of any nanny or maid. She took Veer to the MTV concert a couple of months ago as he loves music. Both have been conspiring now for weeks to make Ranveer’s birthday perfect. PC is very thoughtful and sweet. I’ve known her since the last five years and she’s always been there for anything to do with my child. During the Lady GaGa concert she was sending me pictures on my BBM for Veer.” Some kids have all the luck, right?
