Thiruvananthapuram: State police chief Anil Kant directed the district police chiefs to enforce the law in a most dignified manner when imposing restrictions. He said the sub-divisional police officers would monitor the matter closely.

“Police officers who carry out Covid and traffic duties often have to work in a very difficult situation. However, the police officers should not overreact when enforcing restrictions,” Anil Kant said.The state police chief gave the instructions following reports of misconduct by police officers in charge of Covid and traffic restrictions.
