KALAMASSERY: The accused who boarded a running bus and stabbed the conductor to death was arrested on Saturday. Minub Biju, a native of Kalamassery, was arrested in the incident. The shocking murder took place at Kalamasery HMT Junction on Saturday morning. Anish (34), a native of Idukki and the conductor of the bus was killed.

According to police, Biju killed the conductor in revenge for teasing his girlfriend. Eyewitnesses said that Minub Biju jumped onto the bus wearing a mask and then stabbed the conductor in his chest. After the act, Biju fled the scene.
