NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked states to cooperate with central investigative agencies for the security of people. It is inevitable to work together for the safety of common people. It is the responsibility of states to prevent crimes, the Prime Minister said while addressing a two-day Chintan Shivir of state home ministers in Haryana.
The Prime Minister also proposed to have the same uniform for the policemen of all states of the country. The Prime Minister also said that with the advent of 5G, more vigilance is needed in cyber security.
The function presided over by Union Home Minister Amit Shah was attended by chief ministers of eight states and home ministers of 16 states. Amit Shah had the other day, said that Chintan Shivir is being organized to fight cybercrimes, drug proliferation and border attacks.
