Kannur: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday expressed confidence that the people of Kerala will provide a historic win for the LDF.
The public have stood by the government for the past five years and now they will stand by LDF. The ground support for LDF is very strong. This election will prove it, Vijayan told reporters after casting vote at the Dharmadom RC Amala Basic UP School.
The public have rejected all the accusations and allegations levelled against the LDF by the opposition. Today is the ultimate verdict. Elections show the strength of the public, he added.
CM also added that the lone account of BJP in the state, in Nemom, will be closed in this election. I am unaware of the UDF-BJP pact anywhere in Kerala, he said.
LDF will gain more seats than in the previous elections, he added.
