Thiruvananthapuram: The Opposition is trying to propagate false stories unable to face the government, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said.
Talking to mediapersons here on Monday, Pinarayi said that the state is facing unprecedented issues like never before. After Ockhi and Nipah, followed by floods which ravaged the state and then the rain havoc, now is the time of the Covid pandemic. All these mishaps occurred in equal intervals. Despite all this, development works happened in the state as expected by the people.
The state was able to deal with these challenges unitedly with the people standing together. The state did not go back on development. All welfare measures was taken forward.
This government had done the maximum and the people took the government into confidence. As an opposition, the congress or UDF or the BJP cannot face this. Hence they keep propagating fabricated stories, the CM said.
