Former chief minister and senior congress leader has been admitted to the hospital again. The leader’s son Chandy Oommen informed this via a Facebook post. ‘Dad has been admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. Visitors are restricted. Seeks everyone’s prayers.

Chandy’s brother Alex V Chandy once again approached the government in connection with the former’s treatment. In a letter sent to health minister, he alleged that his brother is not getting scientific and adequate treatment due to the attitude of his close relatives. The government took the initiative and shifted Chandy to a hospital in Bengaluru following the complaint of Alex Chandy that Oommen Chandy’s family was not providing him adequate treatment.
