THRISSUR: One more person has been arrested in the Kodakara hawala case. The arrested has been identified as Mankada native Zulfiqar. With this, the number of those arrested has become 21. Meanwhile, police have recovered money and gold from the accused.

Police said that Zulfiqar was arrested after he was found to be involved in robbery and conspiracy. Meanwhile, police seized nine and a half sovereigns of gold from Deepti, the 20th accused in the case. The gold was recovered from Deepti’s house in Kodali. Police have also recovered Rs 50,000 from the house of another accused named Basheer.
