In Nepal, the Nepali Congress, which has won 105 seats out of 240, has now emerged as the largest party under first-past-the-post , the direct electoral system.

With this, Nepali Congress has regained its lost glory. The CPN_UMl has bagged 91 seats , and currently leads in the proportional seats. The UCPN (Maoist) has won 25 seats and others 18.
