The Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for snapping ties with the BJP.

Addressing the mega ‘Hunkar’ rally at Gandhi Maidan in Patna today, Modi dubbed Kumar an opportunist who, he said, had left leaders like Jayprakash Narayan and Ram Manohar Lohia and betrayed the people of the Bihar. JD(U) had quit NDA opposing his elevation as the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate.
