Ratheesh, a native of Panoor was the second accused in the case, and was the neighbour of the deceased.One of the suspects in the murder of Indian Union of Muslim League worker Mansur was found dead on Friday. Ratheesh Koloth, one of the suspects was found dead in Valayam police station limits in Kozhikode.
Ratheesh was suspected to have taken his own life. A case of unnatural death was registered. Ratheesh, a native of Panoor, was reportedly second accused in the case. He was also Mansur’s neighbour.
Police were informed when a body had been found. “We circulated his photograph and found that he was an accused in the IUML worker death case,” a police official told PTI.
