Thrissur: Police revealed crucial information regarding the black money robbery at Kodakara here. Addressing the media, Thrissur SP G Poonkuzhali revealed that the complainant Dharmarajan, an Abkari based in Kozhikode, has links with RSS.

“Dharmarajan is a RSS member. So far, we didn’t get any clue about the people who handed over the black money to him. The probe is still on,” said the SP.

It is revealed that the money seized from the accused is more than the amount mentioned in the complaint of Dharmarajan. Clarity is needed about the source of money. More people are being summoned for interrogation, informed the police officer.

As per the complaint, some men looted Rs 25 lakh from a car by creating a fake accident. Dharmarajan who transported the money and his driver Shamjeer filed a complaint with the police.

But following the probe, police found that the car carried Rs 3.5 cr. Seven people were arrested over the case. Police issued a Lookout Notice for five other accused.
