Today is International Youth Day. It is an awareness day designated by the United Nations to be observed on 12th August every year. The theme this year is “Youth Migration: Moving Development Forward .”

In his message, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon emphasised on the positive economical, social and cultural contribution young migrants make to societies of origin, transit and destination.
