India wins Gold in Asian Archery Competition at Chinese Taipei

In the ongoing 18th Asian Archery competition held at Chinese Taipei, India’s men’s compound Archery team has won a gold medal. Abhishek Verma, Ratan Singh, Sandeep Kumar and Rajat Chouhan forming the compound team defeated the Korean team for gold.

Indian Archery Association President Vijay Kumar Malhotra has congratulated the team and praised them for a fantastic international year. It is also a very good sign for India as compund archery will be introduced in the Asian Games to be held at Incheon, 2014.
