India-WI final Test: Sachin scores majestic 74; India 413 for 7 at Tea

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar Sachin Tendulkar’s dazzling strokeplay in what is likely to be his farewell innings dominated the proceedings as his majestic 74 helped India take total control of the second cricket Test against the West Indies in Mumbai today.

The majestic 74 that enthralled was an innings to remember in his 200th and the last Test at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In a farewell that each and every Indian will remember, Tendulkar kept pressure at bay to score 74 runs off 118 balls with 12 boundaries.

India were 413 for 7 at tea in their first innings against the West Indies in the second and final Cricket Test a short while ago. Hosts India resumed their second day’s play at the overnight score of 157 for two. Cheteshwar Pujara made a brilliant 113 runs off 167 balls. For the West Indies, Shane Shillingford claimed four wickets.

Earlier, India bowled out the West Indies in their first innings for a paltry 182 runs yesterday.
