NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India has once again created history with the completion of 200 crore doses of Covid vaccination within 18 months. Prime Minister congratulated all Indians on their historic moment. The Prime Minister’s response was via Twitter.

The Prime Minister also noted that he is proud of those who have contributed to making India’s vaccination drive unparalleled in scale and speed. He added that this has strengthened the global fight against Covid-19.

As per the data released by the Ministry of Health, 98% of adults in the country have received two doses of the vaccine. Reports said 90% of the country’s citizens have received a dose.

Among those vaccinated in the 15-18 age group, 82 % received a dose. 68 % of people in this age group received two doses of the vaccine as per the data of the health ministry.
