Kochi: The Kerala High Court sought an explanation from the state govt in a plea filed by Bangalore businessman MK Kuruvila in a cheating case by the CM’s relatives.
Justice VK Mohanan asked the AG, who appeared for the state, whether a case was booked against Kuruvila after he had filed the complaint.
The AG made it clear to the High Court that the complainant is an accused in many cheating cases and many cases were registered against him. Kuruvila had demanded a crime branch probe as the police probe is not progressing in the right direction.
The court directed to submit an explanation within two weeks.
