Lucknow: Heavy rains lashed north India disrupting normal life at many places. In Uttar Pradesh, 11 people lost their lives in rain-related incidents on Friday.
Rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Ghaghra are flowing above the danger level at various places.

Himachal Pradesh also witnesses heavy rains lashing parts of Sirmaur and Chamba districts. Incessant rain triggered landslides and blocked link roads in the interiors of Chamba and Sirmaur districts but main highways remained opened.
Jammu and Kashmir government has sounded an alert, as four persons died in house collapse and flashflood in Jammu region on Friday. Amarnath Yatra remained suspended for the second consecutive day on Friday from Jammu due to bad weather conditions.
In Uttarakhand, major rivers including Ganga in Haridwar, are flowing close to the danger mark.
Rajasthan received moderate to heavy rainfall, mostly in the western parts, with Jaisalmer receiving 90 millimeter of rains. Mercury also dropped at several places in Punjab and Haryana with rain lashing the region.
