Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, a fresh application has been filed in the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court requesting the court to take cognizance of suspension of IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal. Social activist Nutan Thakur in her application has requested the court to relook into its earlier judgement on suspension of the officer.

In her application, she said that the Allahabad High Court has issued notice to the state government on a PIL filed by the PUCL on the transfer of Allahabad Divisional Commissioner Himanshu Kumar.
