Governor bans media, will not talk to two channels and asks reporters to go out

NEW DELHI: Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has banned the media again. He said that he will not talk to MediaOne and Kairali TV and asked the reporters of these channels to go out. He added that he will not speak to those wearing masks. The governor had earlier also banned some Malayalam media.

He also repeated his criticisms against the government. He responded to the media saying that some in the Pinarayi government tried to control Raj Bhavan and those appointed by him have no right to criticize him.

The governor demanded the government to explain to the people many things including the letter of Mayor Arya Rajendran. Many more letters like the mayor’s will surface. He added that there may be such appointments in universities as well and should also reply to it. Meantime, the governor clarified that after reading the reply of the university vice-chancellors, further steps will be taken.
