Thiruvananthapuram: The doctors have called off the strike they announced to protest the attack on Dr Varun of the Primary Health Centre, Arukkutti, in Alappuzha district.
Earlier, a joint meeting of KGMOA and IMA had decided to go on a statewide strike.
Meanwhile, doctors in Alappuzha district staged strike on Wednesday. Hundreds of people, including thoseaffected with fever, were hit by the strike.
