People in the national capital are celebrating Diwali with enthusiasm and zest. The whole city is immersed in the joyous celebrations of the festival. Police and fire brigade have made extensive arrangements to ensure an incident-free Diwali.

Delhities are revelling in the festivities of deepawali. Dressed in their festive best, people are visiting their friends and relatives to exchange gifts.

Many also took to the social networking websites to wish their friends. Markets across the city are decked up with sweets, cracekrs and innovatively designed diyas and candles.

Fancy Chinese lights are also abundant in the markets. Central Pollution Control Board has appealed to Delhities to minimize bursting of fire crackers to contain air and noise pollution.
