THIRUVNANTHAPURAM: Police said the death of the woman of Kattakada is a suicide. Gayathri was found dead in a hotel room in Thampanoor Sunday morning. A dispute over love affair is the reason for the murder.Police said Praveen who accompanied the woman to the hotel has confessed to the crime. He suffocated her to death. Praveen who fled after the murder was nabbed from Paravur in Kollam Sunday afternoon.

The two took the room on Saturday afternoon. Praveen went out in the evening. When he went, he locked the room from outside.The hotel reception received a call in the night saying that a body of a woman was in the room. Following that, the hotel authorities informed the police. She was found lying dead after they broke opened the door.

Praveen was a driver of the jewellery shop in the capital city. Gayathri had also worked in the same firm eight months back. Praveen was already married.
