Thiruvananthapuram: The CPM ministers for the Pinarayi Vijayan 2.0 cabinet has been finalised. The panel of ministers was decided by the meeting of politburo leaders and the state secretariat convened on Tuesday.

Health Minister K K Shailaja, the most popular minister in the previous cabinet, was excluded from the panel of ministers and this is the most unexpected decision in the cabinet formation.

Central committee members M V Govindan and K Radhakrishnan and secretariat members P Rajeev and K N Balagopal were included in the cabinet. The list of ministers reflect a change of generation in total.

Two women were included in the previous cabinet also. This time, Veena George and R Bindu are the women members of CPM in the cabinet.

PA Muhammed Riyas gets a cabinet berth as representative of DYFI and former MP MB Rajesh will be the Speaker. In the first Pinarayi cabinet also, P Sreeramakrishnan, who was comparatively a younger MLA, was made the Speaker.
