New Delhi: Bharat Biotech announced reduction in the price of Covaxin, the Covid-19 vaccine, for states to Rs 400 per dose from Rs 600.

Shortly after the price of Serum Institute’s Covishield was reduced, Bharat Biotech also made the new announcement regarding this.

The company stated in a release that they are concerned with the critical pandemic circumstances that the country is facing.

It was decided to reduce the vaccine price recognising the enormous challenges to the public health care system, they added.
