Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday lambasted on the Social Democratic Party of India, by terming it as one of the outfit that trains people to commit murder. While reacting to the adjournment motion served but the opposition on the Velam murder case, he added that he will examine the activities of SDPI with seriousness.

Pointing that the murders were due to political rivalry, he said that two people were arrested in connection with the case. The situation was under control in the area, he added. Pinarayi also assured to take strict action against police if there were any lapses in the case.
