PM was paying tribute to brave soldiers in Dras on the 25th anniversary of the Kargil victory

“Pakistan betrayed Kargil during India’s peace efforts. Falsehood and terror bowed before the truth. Pakistan, which embraced terrorism, failed. Yet without learning the lesson, Pakistan continues its terrorism and shadow wars. Terrorists’ goals will not be achieved. Our brave soldiers will trample it. Kargil Victory Day reminds us that sacrifices for the nation are immortal. Time cannot erase those who laid down their lives to save the motherland. Salute to the brave sons. I was with the soldiers during the Kargil war. The operation they performed at such a height is a miracle,” said the Prime Minister.
