GANDHINAGAR: With days to go for the Gujarat assembly elections, BJP’s manifesto has been released. The party’s national president JP Nadda released the manifesto in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Gujarat BJP Chief CR Patel. The party promises anti-radical cell, uniform civil code and 20 lakh employment opportunities in the manifesto.
“Anti-radicalisation cell will be formed to identify and eliminate potential threats, and sleeper cells of the terrorist organisations and anti-India forces.”, BJP leaders said adding that a new law will be introduced to identify and punish those who destroy public and private property.
The BJP also promised “free-of-cost, quality education to all girl students from KG to PG.”
“We will start Sharda Mehta Yojana to provide free two-wheelers (electric scooters) to meritorious college-going female students from financially weak households.We will provide free bus travel to female senior citizens in the state. We will create more than 1 lakh government jobs for women in the next 5 years,” the manifesto reads.
“Mobile ration delivery will be carried out across 56 Gotra sub-plan taluks of the state and Rs 1 lakh crore will be ensured under Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana 2.0 for all-round socio-economic development of tribals.”, reads the manifesto
The BJP’s manifesto also promises to establish the Devbhumi Dwarka Corridor, which houses the world’s tallest Lord Krishna statue, as the largest spiritual center in Western India.
