Thiruvananthapuram: Young actress, who had come up with serious allegations against actor Siddique, has reportedly given a serious statement against him claiming that she was brutally raped. The actress underwent a medical examination, and Mascot Hotel authorities have been asked to provide documents from the day of the incident. According to reliable sources, the actress has given a detailed statement regarding the incident which would play a crucial part and might even lead to the arrest of Siddique.
The actress’s confidential statement is set to be recorded on Thursday by a female magistrate at the Thiruvananthapuram court. After this statement is taken, further actions will be taken. The FIR will then be handed over to the Special Investigation Team, which will take full charge of the case, with female officers supervising the investigation.
In her written complaint, the actress provided evidence against Siddique and requested that he should be banned from film industry. She described Siddique as a heinous criminal and accused him of inappropriate behavior towards hotel staff.

Following the release of the Hema Committee report, the actress publicly alleged that Siddique had sexually assaulted her years ago, and she claimed that many of her friends too had similar experiences with him. The police registered the case around 1:30 am on Wednesday. If proven, the charges could lead to imprisonment of up to seven years. The alleged assault took place at Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram.
