All support to govt in fight against the pandemic: V D Satheesan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: V D Satheesan said the opposition will extend all support to the government in its fight the pandemic. He said that the people would scorn if fought each other at difficult times. V D Satheesan, appointed by the party as the opposition leader will arrive in the capital city today.

V D Satheesan will hold talks with AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal, KPCC chief Mullappally Ramachandran, Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala. He will continue in Thiruvananthapuram as the first session of the 15th Kerala Assembly begins tomorrow.

Sonia Gandhi had yesterday requested Ramesh Chennithala and Oommen Chandy to support Satheesan. Chandy told the media that many names had come up for the opposition leader post and he was chosen through discussions. V D Satheesan is able to lead the party, he added.
