After hours of interrogation, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi mentions name of a person whom ED can’t call or contact

NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who appeared for interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate in the National Herald case, gave a statement similar to that given by her son Rahul Gandhi. The ED has questioned Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi regarding their financial dealings with Associated Journal Limited (AJL) and Young Indian Private limited. But they replied that Motilal Vora handled all financial matters in these issues. As Motilal Vora has passed away, ED will not be able to question him. Vora passed away two years ago. He was as the longest-serving treasurer of the Congress party.

Apart from Rahul and Sonia, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge and Pawan Kumar Bansal also mentioned Motilal Vora’s name before the ED. The details regarding ED’s interrogation was leaked by a national media. Rahul Gandhi testified that Young Indian Private Limited is a non-profit making organisation incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act. Sonia Gandhi also gave a similar reply. Today marks the third day of questioning of Sonia Gandhi. ED questioned Rahul Gandhi for five days and it took 50 hours.
