PATHANAMTHITTA: A BJP worker was arrested for defaming CPM MP A A Rahim by posting a doctored image on Facebook. Aranmula native Aneesh was arrested for putting an image that showed Rahim sitting on the peacock throne which was used by conman Monson Mavunkal.

Aneesh edited the video linking Rahim’s video portions from TV channel debates that later transitioned to the image of the MP sitting on the throne. The 25-sec long video turned viral on social media and was shared by almost 500 people. Rahim after learning about the video through social media approached the Cheruthuruthi police with a complaint.
