The Sensex which jumped 321 points in early trade lost its gains marginally and it was trading up by 134 points at 18,380 a short while ago.

The index had lost over 1,121 points in the previous three sessions.

Wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty recovered 50 points to 5,452.

Meanwhile, in other Asian markets, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index fell by 1.01 per cent, while Japan’s Nikkei shed 0.79 per cent in the early trade.
