Taking to Twitter, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked the people of Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura for supporting the good governance agenda and ‘Act East Policy’ of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies. The Prime Minister said that BJP and its allies remain committed to working towards fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of the people.

As the BJP is all set to form government in the Left Bastion Tripura, PM Narendra Modi said that victory in Tripura is historic as well as ideological win for the BJP. He wrote on Twitter, “The historic victory in Tripura is as much an ideological one. It is a win for democracy over brute force and intimidation. Today peace and non-violence has prevailed over fear. We will provide Tripura the good government that the state deserves.”

In another tweet, PM Narendra Modi said that through the results of the assembly elections, the people of the country have proved that they believe in development oriented agenda of the NDA and not in the disruptive and disconnected politics of any kind. “Time and again, election after election, the people of India are reposing their faith in the positive and development oriented agenda of the NDA.
