Sai Pallavi was the toast of the tinsel town with two back-to-back hits to her credit in Mollywood – Premam and Kali.Following this, she moved over to the Telugu film industry with Fidaa. Her Midas touch seemingly continued there as well, with the film scoring it big at the box office.
With a slew of Telugu and Tamil films to her credit, her fans in Mollywood have been waiting eagerly for her comeback into their fold.
Well, this is bound to happen soon with Sai Pallavi’s Telugu debut movie Fidaaall set to be dubbed in Malayalam.
The film was directed by Shekhar Kammula and starred Varun Tej in the lead role. Incidentally, Shekhar Kammula’s Happy Days, which also dubbed in Malayalam, was a big hit in Kerala as well. This had prompted the makers of Fidaa to have its Malayalam-dubbed version released in that state.
Fidaa was a romantic comedy that starred Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi as the lead pair. It had a successful 50-day run at the box office and grossed about Rs. 90 crore.
Made on a budget of Rs. 13 crore, Fidaa was jointly produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
