Kollam: The police on last day nabbed a man for poisoning the mid-day meals prepared for the students at a school in Punalur. Satyan, who resides near the Chembanaruvi St Paul LP School was detained for mixing poison in the meal.
A huge tragedy was averted as the employees of the school saw the man running away after mixing something in the food. When they examined the food, it was found that the meal was poisoned. Meanwhile, the police had begun a probe into the case.
