Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka will clash with Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin in the summit clash of the ATP Chennai Open Tennis tournament today. Top seed Wawrinka made it to the finals yesterday, after Canada’s Vasek Pospisil conceded the match due to a sore lower back. The semifinal ended, 6-4, 5-5, with Wawrinka winning the first set.
In the other semi-final, Roger-Vasselin edged past Spaniard Marcel Granollers, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, to book a finals berth.
In the Doubles, the Croatian pair of Marin Draganja and Mate Pavic will take on the Swedish-Danish combination of Johan Brunstrom and Frederik Nielsen for the title today.
