The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading 149 points up at 21,289 a short while ago. The 30-share index recovered by 48 points in early trade today to 21,189, on fresh buying by funds and retail investors, amid a firming Asian trend.
The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange was also trading 43 points up to 6,345
