The price of non-subsidised LPG gas was hiked by 220 rupees per cylinder from yesterday. A 14.2 kg cooking gas cylinder that consumers buy beyond their entitled nine cylinders at subsidised rates, will now cost 1,241 rupees in Delhi.
In Mumbai, it will cost 1,264 rupees and 50 paise, in Kolkata-1,270 rupees and in Chennai – 1,234 rupees per cylinder.
State-owned fuel retailers said that price has been increased in view of the firming of international rates. This is the third increase in non-subsidised LPG rates in the past month.
