CPM begins candidate selection process for Lok Sabha elections

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM has initiated discussions regarding potential candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with the aim of reclaiming lost seats. The party plans to contest on 15 seats in total.

Following a meeting of the CPM state secretariat, district committees have been instructed to submit their candidate suggestions within two days. Additionally, Kadakampally Surendran is being weighed as a potential candidate.

In various constituencies across Kerala, prominent figures such as Thomas Isaac, C Ravindranath, K Radhakrishnan and Dr PK Jamila are under consideration for candidacy.
