Thodupuzha: LDF declared a ‘hartal’ in Idukki on Tuesday in connection with Governor Arif Mohammed Khan’s visit to the district. The Governor will arrive in Idukki to attend a programme organised by the Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi at Thodupuzha.

The ‘hartal’ is announced from 6 AM-6 PM. Meanwhile, Sunny Paimpallil, who is the president of Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi in Idukki district said that traders will cooperate with the ‘hartal’.
However, UDF has assured all support to traders who are willing to protest against the ‘hartal’ by opening their shops. BJP has also made a similar announcement.
