Kannur: It seems Youth Congress workers are practicing prudence, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said today. His remarks came in the context where there were no ‘black flag’ protests initiated against himself and other ministers as they made their way to the Nava Kerala Sadas today.

“It is good if this ‘prudence’ came as a result of the instructions of the party leadership. Wisdom is a good thing, even if it comes late,” the CM added.

“Think of the announcement made by them. A leader announced to meet on the streets. Who are they going to face on the streets? Are they saying they will face the lakhs of people on the streets who come to attend the Sadas?” Pinarayi asked the opposition.

“Another leader spoke of waving black flags all the way to the state capital. That is their desire. But it would be wise if they have begun to rethink all this today,” he added.
