KOZHIKODE: The Samastha is all set to submit a direct memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi when the issue of Uniform Civil Code is being discussed. Further action will be taken based on the reply. Samastha said they will cooperate with the CPM on the issue. Samastha state president Syed Jiffry Muthukoya Thangal said they will participate in the seminar called by the CPM.

He was inaugurating the Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama Special Convention held in Kozhikode on Civil Code issue. ‘Has collaborated with various political parties. Has cooperated with the Muslim League and the Congress. Will cooperate again. The Communist Party is organizing various discussions on civil code issue. A decision has been taken to cooperate in such programmes, explained Jiffry Muthukoya Thangal.
