THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police are yet to find the accused who sexually assaulted a woman during a morning walk at the museum on Wednesday. CCTV footage will be checked to find out the direction in which the person’s car went.

It is reported that on the day of the incident, the accused had trespassed in another house. A window of a house in Kuravankonam was reportedly broken in the early hours of the day. The CCTV footage shows the assailant going towards Nanthancode. The complainant told the police that he resembles the person who assaulted her.

Police had released the sketch of the suspect yesterday. The sketch was prepared based on the information provided by the complainant. A case has been registered against the accused under non-bailable section.
